5 Reasons Why You Should Write That Book

You are here because you probably have a book idea that has yet to be released. Don't worry, you are not alone. Writing a book can be a great task, and the reservations that people have about writing is very much understood. However, despite all the reasons you can share on why you can't write a book, I want you to focus on the reasons why you can and should.
These are 5 simple steps to encourage you to get started on writing and publishing your book. After reading this quick writing, I hope that you are inspired to write thet book you and I both know you need to write.
THERE’S SPACE FOR YOUR BOOK
It’s been said, that over 80% of people in the world have a book idea within them. However, only about 20% actually ever write a book. These statistics point out a major issue; that being, there are ideas, gifts, advancements and talents that are being kept from the world. I’ve often heard the quote, “the richest place in the world is the cemetery. Because there you will find ideas, inventions and possible human advancements that we may never become exposed to.” What is the world lacking because you have yet to make your contribution? This takes me to #2.
THE WORLD NEEDS YOUR BOOK
No matter how insignificant you may think your book is, there is someone who needs what you have to offer. Think for a moment what your life would be like if you didn't have that vital piece of information which has helped you along your journey in life. How much worse would your life be without that information?
Believe it or not, we are all here today because of the contributions of someone else. We are able to enjoy the life we have because there were people that were willing to share the information they had to make this world what it is today. Don’t deprive the world of your greatness. Someone needs what you have to contribute.
YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES
There are authors from all walks of life. There are authors who have written excellent books and are bestsellers that weren’t considered strong writers. There are people who have written books that didn’t like to read (I used to be this person). There are people with little or no education that are authors. There are even people who don’t have arms that are now authors. One such example of this is, world renowned speaker, evangelist and best-selling author, Nick Vujicic. He literally has no arms or legs, but he refused to let that be an excuse to not become an author. Any excuse that you can think of (money, time, resources, etc.), there is someone who has overcome that obstacle to write and publish their book. Drop the excuses. You can do it.
THERE ARE RESOURCES AVAILABLE
I really took advantage of my available resources while writing my book. Once I began writing, I discovered that the literary world is huge. There are people EVERYWHERE that can assist you in bringing your book to life.
One of the best outlets is social media. Sometimes you can simply make a post on social media asking for something you need? Perhaps, you’re not on social media (you might want to change that). If this is the case, utilize family, friends, co-workers, or most importantly people who have written books. Trust me, someone you know has knowledge of someone who has done what you’re trying to do. You simply have to look for the resources.
YOU’LL ALWAYS REGRET NOT DOING IT
Now that you have this information, you’ll never forget what you have read. You’ll always know that you have what it takes to get your book out. You simply have to make up your mind and get it done. I won’t say that it’s easy. Because in fact, it can be quite difficult. However, nothing compares to the sense of accomplishment you will experience once you’ve finished your book. Believe me, it’s worth it. Don't be like the many people who regret not stepping out on faith and going after this goal. You can do it., and you will do it.
**I wanted to keep this article brief. I will likely do a video on this subject at a later date. There I will expound greater on each of these reasons to write your book. In the meantime, get started on writing your book. I wish each of you the best**
